Dead Money nominated for an Edgar

I'm thrilled to share that Dead Money has been nominated for an Edgar Award in the category of Best First Novel. The Edgars (yes, named after Edgar Allen Poe) are the most prestigious award in mystery and thriller fiction, bestowed annually by the Mystery Writers of America at a gala in Manhattan.

The Edgars have a storied legacy that goes back over seven decades. Past winners of Best First Novel include Tana French, Michael Connelly, James Patterson, and Patricia Cornwell. Stephen King, Robert B. Parker, and Elmore Leonard are all Edgar winners. Lee Child, one of my personal favorites, will be honored at this year's event in April.

It is an incredibly humbling, surreal honor to be nominated. Thank you to everyone who has supported Dead Money over the past few years!

More to come,

Jakob
